The essence of confidence, confidence that the sand will move the ball as expected.

This piece represents the low, forward hand position with the club head rotated open to determine and effect the compacting of sand.

Special attention had to be focused on the heel of the club entering the sand first, igniting the formation of this initial impact "blast". Since the club never touches the ball, but obviously moves the ball, this shot is unlike the others.
